# About Trauma Lane Soundboard

## Free battlefield audio for medical training

Medical training and simulation instructors can use Trauma Lane Soundboard to add environmental audio to trauma lanes, casualty simulations, and mass-casualty (MASCAL) exercises. It is a free browser-based soundboard with no account required.

It is intended for combat medics, corpsmen, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) instructors, and military or civilian emergency-medical simulation programs. Use it from a phone, tablet, or computer with a modern browser.

## What the soundboard does

Choose sounds from the library and stage up to six at a time. Trigger cues when your scenario calls for them, or combine looping ambience with one-shot effects. Several sounds can play at once.

The library includes helicopter / MEDEVAC audio, gunfire and firefights, explosions, mortar teams, drone / UAV ambience, warning sirens, helicopter interior, crowd and civilian audio, vehicle rollover, fires, diesel engines, and a timed MEDEVAC radio sequence. The sound catalog lists the actual entries and available variants.

## Offline and mobile use

Staged sounds are saved on the device for offline use. Before going to a lane without signal, stage the needed sounds while connected, let their assets finish downloading, and check the intended device and speaker setup.

The app supports background audio. Prepare and test your planned phone/browser/speaker combination before instruction; operating-system power management and Bluetooth setup are part of that preparation.

## Questions and requests

Does it cost anything? No: the soundboard is free and requires no account. It runs in the browser; no app-store installation is required.

Can I request audio? Request sounds through the existing app footer. Include a specific description and an example link when available.

This is a simulation tool, not medical advice. Trauma Lane Soundboard does not claim official endorsement by a training organization.
